I bought this Ser Jacopo last year. This is the actual pipe. They used it to do a photo shoot for their Website. It's a GREAT smoker..

I haven't smoked it yet. But it is light and has a classic appeal.

Ser Jacopo fits my style better than any other Pipemaker. Large pipes with detailed drilling and stemwork.
And usually not absurdly expensive.

I can still remember back around 2015 on Smokingpipes.com I saw a beautiful 4X Maxima Black Bulldog for about $350.
That's one of the few pipes I absolutely regret not buying.

I love Ser Jacopos. Here are the I have from top to bottom:

Delecta L coral dot
Maxima S1 coral dot
S2 panel
R1 bamboo shank cherry with smooth rim

They’re all fairly large except the R1

While I liked the style of Ser Jacopo pipes the weight of them didn't agree with me.

This is a '308' (08 shape in 300 finish, according to Geppetto shape chart found on the Ser Jacopo website.)
I like the barely-bent stem.

Just purchased this Ser Jacopo Rustic bent billiard last month. New old stock I think since it had never been smoked and the seller has a bunch on ebay. It smokes great and feels wonderful in the hand.

My Gepetto, a rather long pipe but a great smoker!

I like Ser Jacopo but feel like Gepetto pipes are too expensive for what they are.. that you could get a SJ for not much more.

Plus they go well over $200. Al Pascia has so good prices on them. They have great shapes though.

Been eyeing these two carvers/brands a bit as of late. Not sure I'd buy a Mastro Geppetto, though, I might get a Pipe-nocchia.
