This is a 2 egg I got at a local tobbaconist a few months back before I smoked it. The grain in the bowl was quite nice. A little on the heavy side to clench bit smokes just as good as any ser jacopo I have.

They do some innovative designs on traditional shapes and some others, and the finishes are beautiful. I don't like the little duck ornament, but some of their pipes don't have those. They are pricey, but seem to be really well made.
While they are not inexpensive, I find that they tend to be more reasonably priced than other comparable Italian pipes and do have some very innovative designs, and the raised duck, love it or hate it, sets them apart from other pipemakers.
I enjoy the little duck, he keeps me company. And when I talk to myself I don't feel as bad with my l'anatra
I picked this one up at an auction two weeks ago. Smoked it for the first time and no break in needed. I only own smooth pipes, but the grain on this one is such that it would have made a great blast.
Just picked this up at the Columbus pipe show. It was unsmoked. It doesn’t have any eggs and the duck is an inlay. I can’t find any details on the grade of this one or the time era. Not a lot of info out there about this one. I found an email address for the maker but it bounced. 
The poker d'assi is somewhat it's own line with no particular grading, just rustic blasted and smooth of course with the prices corresponding to said finish. But damn that's a nice pipe. Good find, you don't mind me asking what it cost? You might have gotten a steal.
I paid $450. I’m noticed some going to $700-$900.
