Show Us Your L'Anatra Pipes

I could not locate an open thread for L'Anatra, so I figured I would start a new one in the eventuality that someone would like to share their pipes with us.

This is one I purchased today. It is in the Pettinate finish.

I just posted this in the WAYS thread, but I'll put it here too. My first and only L'Anatra (so far.) A very solid smoker.

My one and only. I've had it for about five years. It doesn't have the raised "hood ornament" ducks head on the stem, but it lays flat. I don't know if that means it's a lower graded pipe or just an older pipe. I bought it as an estate.

Once upon a time I had a 2 Egg Gigante - long oval shank squashed tomato with the duck head stem ornament. Smoked wonderfully but can't find a picture!

Yes and yes. Excellent fit and finish. Great smokers. In my opinion, they are constructed and perform well above their price point. I can't imagine that you would be at all disappointed were you to get one.

They made models with heads imprinted, not really for economics, although coincidentally most of the time the economic models have this system.
Some users seem to have objected to the raised head because it easily snags in pockets and soft bags.

That was, and still is THE most stunningly beautiful olive wood pipe I’ve seen,

Unfortunately the photos don’t come up any more.
