Yes, I'm a hat freak too; see avatar to left. Many others include driving caps (flat caps) in khaki, herring bone, and a favorite black and white dappled cap from Paris; a Stetson bowler; a beaver top hat if the moths haven't eaten it completely up; many broad brimmed hats including an especially wide-brimmed drover hat; a hard hat or two; many feed caps including a MM cob cap, high quality, that i got as a door prize at the TAPS pipe show, the last one they had. And too many others to list.

Penman hats are beautiful:

I’d love to see the return of gentlemen wearing classic fedoras.

I like knit beanies during the colder months:

Got offers to be a mechanic instead of a fighter pilot due to my vision. Not the same thing.☹
For me it was my length at that time, I was a 6'2" kid at 15 and only grew one inch since that time with 6"3' now. Strange thing it was for me always about the tech and serving your country came second. I always admired the speed and agility of the fighters. Me being all thumbs I would also settle for maintenance or engineering, all the new JSF planes within Europe will be maintained by the DRAF.
