I only have three. A 410 Volcano Pebble Grain NOS with 3part C. And a bent billiard for the late 90’s that i love. And a Royal Comoy pot.

Being a dyed the wool English pipe shape nut, I don't know why I haven't stuck with Comoy pipes. But I recently saw one on eBay - a shape #80 (straight bulldog) but with a longer than normal tapered stem! That did it for me and I bid high, but doggoneitall, somebody out bid me - heck, it went for well over $300! I saved the pictures from the auction and will try to insert one here. If anyone has this, or similar pipes, please get in touch! I'm normally a squat bulldog person, but this one just wow'd me. Dimensions were approximately 6.3" x 1.85" maybe a little taller.

well, I can't seem to get the image up here, but y'all get the idea...

You can link directly to the photo on eBay or wherever.
Once your photos are on virtually any site, (including this site's album) such as eBay, Amazon, you-name-it, select the full sized image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) on the image itself, then choose "copy image location" or similar words. Now paste that URL (the full web address, which should end in .jpg or .png) into the IMG box in the reply window of the thread you're posting to.
Hth.

well, I hope I got it right (thanks jpmcwjr) - but at least there is a link there, by the way it was a 1930's Royal Comoy! sold for $370!

Comoy‘s Prima from 1933 sold originally by a Belgioan tobacconist. I think the stem was originally straight and this is either a replacement or somebody bent it.

I posted a Comoy's 306 recently but can't find the page it was on. Not in very good shape but was interesting enough to try to refurb. Have got it a little better but haven't been able to remove the silver cap to take out the dents. Have tried every trick I know to remove it--heat, cold, solvent, brute strength. Nothing has worked. Had a silversmith look at it--his suggestion was to cut it off and then try to resolder/repair it. Not sure I want to try that unless I can find a replacement cap to use if things go south. Any one have other suggestions for removing said cap?? Here are the pics so far: Thanks for looking, Hoppes

Hoppes, is there no way that the cap can just come off and the dent popped out?

Proud owner of one Comoy's inherited from my grandfather. A Straw Matt 17 referred to as a "Kruger(S)" on the shape chart. Kinda small and with a less severe bend for an Oom Paul, but I won't argue with them. I've seen the same shape called "Cassette" by Chacom. I also have a couple estate pipes I suspect to be Comoy's seconds.
