I'm a huge Ashton fan, especially the Taylor pieces. Whether Taylor or Craig, show me what you got!

Glad to hear you're on the way to recovery. You had me worried for a bit there.I did wonder,as you commented on the lack of pipe smokers in Gib,I thought there was a chance it was you.
yes the canadian is your photo from the listing .
I finally got to smoke them this week as it is 3 months since my op.
That '85 is gorgeous. I love cumberland/red brindle and the colour combination is top notch. Always been a straight billiard man myself.I've had a few over the years but this '86 had a great blast. Eventually sold it because the bit was just too wide for comfort (for me).

This '85 I got on my birthday this year. Tremendous blast on this Pebble Grain Liverpool - my favorite shape and sizing with a red brindled stem.

Wow, those are some of the nicest Ashtons I've ever seen! The sandblasting is exquisite. Is the Sovereign a Straight Grain? Here are the four that I own currently:

That's odd, but either way, it's a hell of a pipe. I'm jealous (but then again I'm jealous for all of the pipes in this thread).Thank you!
No, the Sovereign doesn‘t have the SG stamp although I can’t imagine why not. Oddly enough I’m not sure it deserves the ELX stamp that it does have- it’s a big pipe for sure, 6.875” x 2.3” and 70g, but I’ve seen plenty of LX’s just as big and plenty of ELX’s that are a good bit bigger.
Great pipes! I love that rhodesian. It's much more conventional than I see a lot from Craig. Very classic. Always good to have a birth year too. Real icing on the cake.*cracks knuckles* I thought you’d never ask!
2016 XXX Pebble Grain Rhodesian (my favorite pipe of any that I own. This one gets smoked the most. It is the standard by which I judge all other Rhodesians)
