Well, I don't smoke to often, but here is my, er, section of the apartment where I smoke inside when I can. To answer winterland from another post, yes pipe smoke smell lingers. How long depends on the blend. If you're not supposed to smoke in the house you'll get caught with anything less than two hours in my experience. Luckily the wife just doesn't want me to smoke inside when she's there and doesn't mind to much when shes gone for a while.

Since I smoke anywhere I want in our house--except our bedroom- this is where I smoke.

Well, y'all have seen where Cyndi and I smoke, but I haven't shown any pics of the majority of our collection. These pics are mostly my pipes alone. We'll have to get Cyndi's up soon. The cabinet and light came from Ikea. I used to have two lights on the inside, but the set up makes it look kinda like a museum display, lol.

Thanks! With the way things are going, I might have to talk Cyndi into a cabinet upgrade for both of our pipes, lol.

There's two of them up there, one is a mermaid. I posted clear pics of them in THIS thread not long ago.

The "Officers' Club" at work. Not a surprise that there are ghosts. It's on the room of a former psych hospital that now functions as an LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) I call it the Officer's club because at night, it's usually just me an Captain Black Only. 1 other person has the key to this area and they are too lazy and scared to come snooping.
I have seen shadow figures here and it is within view of the window where I posted handprins on the outer glass. At the mortuary, I simply light my pipe when the other morticians are reaching for thei pack o nails. I'll post a pis as soon as I can get a shot that is legal (not containing dead bodies or messy autopsy footage)

My wife wants to be a mortician... maybe you can talk her out of it. Or into it. I don't care. I just don't think she has the stones! haha.

It looks even more sinister with the spiked lightning rods that line the roof (tough to see in the night shot) The walls make a nice lean-to for lighting and keep drizzle off my head on misty nights. Not cozy, but you can't beat it for solitude.
It isn't the dead bodies that make most people want to quit being a mortician. It's the brutal hours, low pay, heavy lifting and sketchy adherence to pay/labor laws of some of the companies. If you don't absolutely love the work, don't get into it. You don't become a mortician for the money (mainly because the owners make all of the money and everyone else makes just above minimum wage). If you work for the corporations, they work you like a dog and treat you like a sales person. If you work for a family business, guess who's going to be doing night calls every holiday while the family's on vacation?
Talked her out of it yet?

Back porch of my parents house, with (at the time) my only pipe and a tin of Sutliffe I got free. There's a little 'bird island' in the backyard with trees and bird houses and feeders, so I watch the birds as I smoke. Just this week a friend in Scotland sent me a GBD pipe, so now I have two! It's been rainy all week and I can't smoke inside, so it's been a while since I've had a bowl. Sucks being poor.
