I didn't see a thread for W.O. Larsen pipes specifically so...

Just won this estate which looks like it should clean up very easily and nicely:











I've got more to post since Larsens are a particular part of my collection.

Sort of a late period variation on shape 70. A Larsen Copenhagen (early '60's) period Select, and the same pipe with a smaller variation from the same period, a Flame Grain.

Copenhagen Deluxe By Hand 55, most likely carved by Sven Knudsen while he was working for Poul Rasmussen at Suhr in the late 1950's, and sold by W.O. Larsen.

Larsen Handicraft De Luxe. A pipe from the golden age, a true Danish chimney. It is what would be listed in the 1961-'62 catalog as shape 105. It is however, looking at the markings particularly the use of HANDICRAFT, an older pipe from the mid to late 1950's, before Larsen set up its in house shop run by Sven Knudsen. I believe a Paul Rasmussen design made at Suhr's Pibemageri for sale at Larsen. It is marked on the bottom Larsen Copenhagen Handicraft De Luxe Made in Denmark.

The first Larsen I ever owned was this bent brandy:

I chose this Larsen even though it was somewhat similar to the one I had because it had the smoker in an armchair logo on the stem:

One of my favorite Larsen shapes is the bent Dublin:

The finest Larsen in my collection is this pearl grade sitter which was restored for me by Anthony Cook:

Just received this one today. Needs a little oxidation removed from the stem but other than that it's in great shape.

My Christmas/New Year's present to myself from SP. W.O. Larsen Super shape 70. Definitely the largest example of this shape that I have; one is an older smooth Select Grain, and the other a sandblasted Super. Gotta love these old Larsen "catalog shapes", no two are exactly the same!
