Just re-read your post. I also just saw white lettering on a Pete for the first time. This one's also odd in that it has a 'hand cut'-stamped stem, but was made at the London factory, so there goes the 100% Larrigan/'Hand Cut' thing. I've magnified the lettering and everything points to it being original. Hard to tell, but there was also originally white lettering in the 'Hand Cut' stamp. I polished some of it off, unavoidably due to oxidation. Adding to the confusion, it also has the 'X' stamp.I have three more on their way. So it’ll be interesting to compare
