I'm still worried about my tendencies.
I'll soon be busy digging through my stash to find some I can sell off to make me feel better about it.
I'm right about 100 now that I stopped to count and didn't even know it. And never thought that would be me.
Wasn't going to get another 307, but the blast on this one is crazy good. Both sides, too, with the lovely red contrast stain. I still prefer the B42 for system pipes, but the 307 is coming in second methinks.
These weren't even on my radar until recently, but I just got a great House Pipe on eBay. The P on the stem is somewhat the worse for wear but otherwise it's in great condition. I am in love with the feel of this finish and shape. Installed an adapter for the 9mm filter and I look forward to taking it for a spin as soon as I have a spare fortnight to get through a full bowl...

Really pleased with the narrow wear gap on this one, it's subtle but present enough to still keep things interesting.
Although, I just ordered a Deluxe System Barley a few days back that hasn't yet been delivered, I couldn't help but order this Deluxe System B42 on March 1st for my birthday on the second. I'm way more of a smooth pipe guy, but I'm loving these blasts that Peterson has been putting out. While I'm excited for the Barley 9s which should be delivered tomorrow, I'll eagerly be awaiting this one as well.

I concur on the recent sandblasts. Fantastic texture, both the black and the reddish varieties. In fact I think I actually prefer my new 309 blast over my vintage one, by a little bit.

Found this Maigret on SP today if anyone’s interested.
Before my last two purchases, I owned two blasts, a partial blast Savinelli Autograph, and a Peterson St. Patrick's Day. My other 50 or so pipes are smooth. So for me to purchase not one, but two back to back blasts speaks volumes. I may buy more in the future if they keep turning out such nice ones!
