Kind of sworn off any new pipes with the PPN coming (and now the Xmas, lol) but happened on this Rathbone. The Rathbone was the first pipe I smoked (with Wilke No 515, of course) and I've never thought I needed another of those, but saw this blast which I've never seen on one before and very few Petersons (happy to be corrected on that, but not my experience), so . . . . it will make its way to me via the agonizingly slow AN Post. Have a rusticated Rathbone. Quite like its shape and the bowl provides a nice, long smoke.

It is just Beautiful !!! Remember when people were gripping about 'pine cones" and saying , well better than 'pine apples'? These guys have now gone and created the 'cones we pine after'! I have a 317 Spigot from last month that is so nice just like that one AND is an amazing smoke! These are both even and balanced. Hats off to the folk in Dublin @Peterson. I love it. Well done!

It was a "fool and their money are soon parted" or more money than sense kind of response to someone offering to pay that much for such a pipe.
