Lovely collection. Shame you photographed them with a pair of your undies as the background
I only wear zebra print…😉
Dark 9BC is obviously #1 but that dark 999 is definitely giving it a run for it’s money!
Yeah the chubbies are my favorites as well, but the classic English shapes are great too, I’m really liking this 53.

This arrived. I’m able to correctly date it 1898. The stem is definitely not original, but it’s a period stem for the style and era. It has an Orific bit and the vulcanite is that hard polish you often find.

It’s a 308 trying to be a 999.

Measurements are 6 1/2 inches long and the bowl is 1 1/4 deep and 1 inch across

That’s substantially larger than I originally thought it would be. 😮 Even with a replacement stem it looks great. I hate trying to polish that really old vulcanite.

Since it’s a already a replacement, it might be a good candidate for Swipe Pipe 2.0 army mount.

It’s a 1307 😂

To me the 5 is the absolute ugliest pipe in Petersons whole lineup🤮.
I will not be getting one.

I’m on the wait-list for this year’s PPN. I have to agree: I’m not keen on the trumpet shape of the 5, but it is a rather iconic Peterson shape—the historic angle appeals to me far more than the aesthetics. But, I’ll probably stay on the list; I was supposed to be on last year’s list, but something got lost or confused in an e-mail exchange with Mark and I missed out. I may as well get this year’s.

I was really hoping they would make the 999 Author, which would’ve been super cool, but no such luck.

Here’s a gorgeous Pete Deluxe 132 London Made - England Apple. The stem reads Hand Worked.

Huge shoutout to the Kiwi Mafia (@Ahi Ka) for this one. He’s also gifted me the Loewe All Briar w/ Custom Silver Case. Plus another I’ll reveal at a later time

Lol @kiwimafia! I understand why a rival mafia's shape was banished from his collection.

Looking forward to seeing the other mystery pipe and that Loewe.

Out-f*ck#ng-standing! Have you seen that

HAND
WORKED

Stamp on other stems before? That shape is the epitome of straight english briars to me, the apple is such a classic. And that is a perfect example of one.

This was hands down the coolest Pete which has come through my stables. After chatting with the consigliere, we guess the COM and stem stamping - Tim’s pics don’t show the “P” on top positioned like a white dot - is either genius marketing, or an inside joke for how to sell pipes to the Brits.

As for the shape:

What a handsome pipe! Is this from a line just called “Sterling Silver”? I also like the subtleness of the thin, stamped ‘P’ logo more than the thick, inlaid logo. I wish they could do the inlay this thin but I’m sure that would be cost prohibitive.
These pictures provide the only stamping on it. I haven't researched the lineage so I have no comments other than to share the pics.

I filled and charred it last night and then decided it was time to head inside; so as a result I enjoyed 1/2 bowl of Stonehenge DGT style this morning. Didn't have time for more so tonight I guess it's DDGT when I finish it.
'Twas another tasty blend I got to sample from the box pass.

Are you sure that's not an XL80 ;)
