Good looking Pete!Just reminding myself right now how much I liked the 9B release! This craggy bastard is a good one.View attachment 243525
That sounds way cooler than realityI think so. It came to me through various cutouts and back room deals.
What a handsome pipe! Is this from a line just called “Sterling Silver”? I also like the subtleness of the thin, stamped ‘P’ logo more than the thick, inlaid logo. I wish they could do the inlay this thin but I’m sure that would be cost prohibitive. An XL90 I acquired recently. Sort of like the Fat Boy in the Harley Davidson lineup to me...
Really liking it.

Is the middle one a 358/308?Last pics for the day.
This year is the 125 Anniversary of the PLip and I’ll be Celebrating System Day with these three pipes. The banded Pete is from 1923 and the two in the foreground are from the Free Irish State (1922-1937) close enough.

Yes. Good eyeIs the middle one a 358/308?
I was wondering if you were on this one.
I suspected that the Petes that are catching my eye these days are some kind of 308 shape. This confirms that suspicion.Yes. Good eye
I don't recall the nomenclature, I'll have to take another look...What a handsome pipe! Is this from a line just called “Sterling Silver”? Tim, I was wondering if that might be heading your way
The seller thinks it might be. I’ll know when I get it. I bought it for the shape and condition of the bowl.Tim, I was wondering if that might be heading your way
Replacement stem ?
Yes it was.Was this the one that went for $45? If so I’m glad it landed with you. I took a modest stab because I’m tapped out and still need to remember the PPN is on deck.
I’m fairly certain it’s a replacement, the taper looks all wrong. The seller thinks it might be. I’ll know when I get it. I bought it for the shape and condition of the bowl.
I agree. But I don’t trust most photos.Yes it was.
