The prices for these are all over.

Wow, my max on it was $100 because there was something about the shape that didn’t quite look right to me. Plus I figured it would go for $150-200 so I would lose it anyway. Not sure if people were scared off by the stinger. Either way, I feel like an idiot 😵

Well hopefully this is the start of a trend so I can finally snag one.

But then you'd be in a bidding war with @ashdigger who always hits his mark.

Funny story: I bought my condo during the pandemic (when homes were selling during the open house, people were paying more than $40k over appraised/listing value, and you had to be willing to act quickly or the homes would be gone). The family trust selling my condo was promised a bidding war and I was the only bid, well under listed price. I hit my mark.

It's fairly rare that I buy brand new pipes these days, but after seeing @ashdigger 's Rua Milverton I had to find one similar - I love square shanks, and have a few early English pipes with square shanks and billiard bowls. Sadly not Rua or spigot, but the sandblast on this one is really craggy - slightly darker in person:View attachment 236554View attachment 236555
I like the sandblast on your pipe. Some of Peterson's rustications look like a rabid beaver got ahold of the briar and it isn't pleasing to me.

My House Pipe has rustication in-between a blast and a rabid beaver rustication, which also looks better in person (and has red undertones that don't really show in pictures). The rustication isn't as deep as the picture indicates.

I've got a Pub pipe with the modern rustication, because I just wanted a no nonsense pipe with a large chamber for out and about. Honestly, I'm not keen on how mine looks (yours looks better in that photo) but it does feel great in the hand.

I got the House Pipe for virtually the same reason. And the hand feel is great.

I think I prefer how the Pub Pipe hangs, as the House Pipe dangles a bit due to the larger stem. The chambers of my pipes are 1.94 and 2.22 inches deep, so just a small difference.

Here is a photo of both, with my daughter pointing to the House Pipe.

The Terracotta is such a great, classic finish. Glad that they've brought it back. I tend to like the straight Peterson spigots the best. Beautiful piece!
Thanks for the kind words. I really like the Terracotta finish too. I have a SH Squire in the Terracotta finish as well and am really fond of it.

Nice pipes you got here!!I got 2 house pipes from 2020 and 2021..one rusticated a little diferently than yours and another terra cotta...I am shocked today about 60% upcharge on terra cotta pub pipe from the price of my terra cotta house pipe I bought 2 years ago...quality briar without fills sure must get 60% more scarce..Rustication on yours looks decent..mine is not as deep and cragy but more shallow with different, more delicate pattern..Both are nice..I bet you enjoying smoking yours!
