@unkleyoda - some real beauties there! What is the POSI group?

I'd like to see the Jim Lilly pipe as well, so keep us updated.
Thanks.
The PSOI group is The Pipe Smokers Of Ireland, it's a Facebook group. The last few years, Glen Whelan, who works for Peterson, has had a limited, numbered pipe, made for the group. Mine is 17 of 36. Fun group, lots of pictures and banter. Their 'mascot' if you will is Peterson Pipes, but you don't have to smoke Petes, or be Irish to be in it.
As far as Jim's pipes, apparently Jim's son contacted Glen Whelan to help him sell some of Jim's collection. His son wanted people that knew Jim and would appreciate his pipes for what they are, instead of random pipe smokers at garage sales, to buy them. So, yesterday Glen posted 15 or so for sale, nothing super rare. The high lights were an X220 Hinged Lid, B42 Darwin Deluxe, a couple of Sherlock Holmes models, and then some random stuff. All were in supreme condition, but nothing super rare. Glen said, there are more to come, he will put them out slowly.

This is the picture Glen sent me. When I get it, I'll polish it and take some pictures. I'll probably shoot my whole Peterson collection.

unkleyoda, am a huge Peterson fan myself. So appreciate the pipes you have, particularly would love to have the Mark Twain set, (though not in green  ), and a bent billiard house pipe. Jim Lilly once had a huge collection of pipes. Wonder how many he retained after he gifted a # to Peterson.

From what I know, he retained quite a few. I was 'Facebook friends' with him. I seem to recall he retained somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 or so. 17-20 came up for sale yesterday, apparently more to come in the months ahead. Glen said his son wanted to make sure that people that appreciated the history of them being Jim's pipes, were the ones to buy them.
Now I hope that Peterson will do a Jim Lilley pipe.

This is my collection. I have a couple in a drawer, nothing major. All but a few are Peterson Pipes. I still have 2 coming in the mail, a Twain rusticated and the Jim Lilley X220 Hinged Lid.
Thanks for letting me show them off here. :)

My X220 Hinged Lid that belonged to Jim Lilley arrived in the mail today. It's an honor to own one of Jim's pipes. It will stay in my collection forever.
