It arrived after many weeks of me being impatient and I have to say I couldn’t be more happy. Fit and finish on this Meer are sublimely good, stem colour and drilling are better than I could have imagined plus it’s light as a feather. Big thanks to @didimauw for chasing around looking for this pipe in transit too. I can safely say this won’t be my last Astas.

Thanks Ray, great smoker, just ran a couple of bowls through it. Don’t know about the transparent stuff but it has quite thin walls so it will be interesting to see if that facilitates the colouring or not.

I picked up this meer at an antiques shop. It's in a Comoy's box but I can't find anything online to suggest they ever made meers, it has an instructional care booklet that's clearly for briars. The inside of the bowl looks iffy to me, not sure what that gray stuff is but the price was a deal I couldn't pass so I figured I'd ask here if it looks okay.
