Nice addition Orley. The rustication on LHS pipes reminds me of tree bark. It's a rustic pattern unique to the LHS brand that most people either love or hate. I Lovat. Sorry, bad joke. I couldn't resist.

Ok Dave T, here's a group shot with most of my LHS collection. I have a few more stashed away and about 12 on the workbench. The rack is all push stem silver or gold banded Sterncrest's.

Got this Certified Purex as a result of overcrowding at Dave G's LHS museum. It's a real pleasure to hold and to smoke.
My crappy cell phone photography doesn't do Dave's work justice. The pipe just gleams and the grain is almost 3 dimensional. I just had to show it off.

I'm happy to have snagged this little LHS Purex from ebay last week. It joins a similar carved one from 7 months ago.

Also won an auction for what looks like a war time production Superfine. The pictures are terrible so I'll just have to wait and see.

Nice! That baby looks to be very low mileage. I see there is still bare briar inside the shank.

Not as stunning as dave g's war time Superfine, (In fact it is quite plain) but I found this other example on ebay. Maybe it could someday be restored.

That actually has very nice grain for a wartime domestic pipe. That should clean up real nice.

This patent era LHS Park Lane Deluxe is the latest addition to the Stern collection. I've ran across a few of these but I held out until I found a Park Lane with a Cumberland stem. This is one of three on the LHS grail list. A Canadian and squat bulldog with Cumberland stems are some of the others.

The 99 is comparable to a Savinelli 320 in size and shape.

This is a post war Purex Superfine courtesy of Scrooge. Nicely grained and elegant shape.

This is a great original condition survivor. I only cleaned up the stem a bit.
