Def post, and funny you say this... I was trying to shop Al Pascia over the holiday but slooowww and I kept getting frustrated. Was eying a Jacapo bent Rhodesian. If it hangs out a few more weeks, now that the website works again who knows.
As promised, one of 2 ser Jacopo's arrived today. The other is being molested by customs now for a week. Probably gonna have a nice hefty bill attached to it.

This is my first apple shaped pipe and I gotta say, it feels absolutely amazing in hand. Like holding a little golf ball with a stem, lol. I can't wait to smoke from it. It's a little reserved compared to alot of their work

I'll post second one when it arrives

Well seeing how I started down this pipe and tobacco road just over a month ago, all but one of my pipes has technically been acquired in the new year, with more enroute!! Yikes! To say I be been bitten by the pipe bug is an understatement.
Two of the estates, the IL ceppo, and Guildhall 215 were purchased through members here. Others in there are a little Ropp, Pete 230, Savinelli 626, and 122, and Briarworks c81. I like them all for different reasons thus far.5619CE6F-01BE-4DE7-BF2C-B6C66849F665.jpeg

And yes I saw the Egg carton thing from someone else on here. A comical but surprisingly effective way to hold a few pipes!
It will do until I make my own proper pipe rack lol

What's that meer in the middle?
That’s a G.A.F.

I wasn’t going to post this as it has taken me a week to calm down. I chose that meer as my first smoke from the box. I dismantled as per usual and place a small amount of Teflon tape around the bone tenon. It must have slip a thread, as a few seconds after being screwed back together, the top of the amber stem blew off 🤦🤯😭

Got two pipes so far this year.

Not a fancy pipe by any means, and I think their filter systems are sort of controversial, but I think it’s quite a looker. This is a Brigham Voyager I picked up for huge markup at a local B&M. I removed the filter immediately.

I’m returning to the hobby after a long hiatus so I’m a bit trigger happy. I also bought a Savinelli Dolomiti 106 online. This one I’m really loving so far. It‘s by far the best smoke I’ve ever had. And I think it looks really great.

It came in today along with my first ever aromatic blend. C&D Autumn Evening. It smells like a big ole plate of pancakes.

Excited to try it out, but I won’t put it in my Savinelli until that one breaks in some more.
