Finally I finished a project i had for some time: a Missouri Meerschaum cob with a bamboo shank.
What makes me proud is that I myself harvested the bamboo in my neighbour overgrown garden (he's been trying to get rid of the bamboo -unsuccessfully- for years). It took a lot of digging around ... ?
Here's the result:

With a short stem it transforms into a cute little nosewarmer:

A couple weeks ago, I had a vision of turning a Missouri Meerschaum into a True "Cobbit" Pipe.

So I purchased a Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman W/Bent Stem from Barclay Pipe, Tobacco & Cigar in Columbus, Ohio and immediately took it to Tim West for modification to a true Churchwarden Pipe!

Two weeks and $27 later, Tim called me to let me know that it was ready to pick up.

And, as a bonus, Tim gave me the "Nickel" tour of his shop!

The pipe turned out GREAT and delivers a nice cool smoke!
