I remember when I first joined seeing people's cellars and thinking oh my, I would love to have a cellar like that. Thanks to 4noggins, it's come along way from the few tins I could afford before. I'll have to take some pics.
@Joshb83: yes I did. the logos come from google search, the description from Tobacco Reviews. I found the containers online actually. On the chinese Ebay where every shop in china has an online equivalent, pipe shops are there too to sell pipes and tobacco related items. They're 15 yuans a piece, so it's about 3 USD. I just got a load of 20 :D.
Great job but I have a question: how are the Chinese equivalents to spring lid bell or mason jars? The cheap ones from the local dollar store I have purchased all went into the garbage as the seals did not hold at all!
Those containers are pretty to look at if you have the time.
It's gonna be tough to cellar any real quantity with them though, (which I think you should be doing as much as you can afford).
The Ball and Kerr brands of canning jars are the most affordable and QUALITY jars I've found.
This is a link to the Chinese "ebay". It's obviously in Chinese.
There are options within your browser to use google translate to have the pages in English. You can see the comments, the scores.
FYI: red score is good, green score is bad. It took me while to get used to that one.
Every product has usually 3 scores : conformity to the picture and description, service from the seller, delivery quality.
If you are serious about buying stuff from there, I will try to help if I can.
