Judging by the angles on that stem, it does have a diamond shaped shank. Love old British bulldogs. Have but 1, a S&G made in 1900 with silver band and bone stem.Here are a few of my more interesting (to me) Bulldogs. Top photo are my Petes and 2nd photo a group of 1898 to 1920.
