Cc1992 has been spoken for. Thanks for participating this round. I still have burley London blend if anyone wants to try. Keep in mind, each round is new and any member meeting the requirements in post 1 is eligible, even if they've received a sample from a previous round.

Yesterday I received Butera Kingfisher and I tried smoke in a Georg jENSEN Picaxe today.

at start I do detect nice burley and then sweet vaper comes after. Citrus flavoring in the smoke.

Really pleasant and sweet viper till end of bowl.

I do usually smoke PS LBF and specially enjoying end of bowl because very special taste come out that time.

Kingfisher gave to me that taste from start to end of bowl.

Enjoyed a full hour of slow smoking with rich smoke and enough fulfill of Nic.

Thanks to clickklick to have a chance of experience smoke this precious tobacco.

Only a bad thing is no longer in production.

I was going through my cellar and found a jar of Christmas Cheer 1992 I forgot about. It came from a compromised tin and has been in the jar aging since. While it may not have aged the same as it would have in a sealed tin exclusively, it is still a very nice tobacco.
Phonomet, and anyone else for that matter, if you'd like to try some, PM me.
As for the Hairy larry findings, you are completely correct the cyprian and syrian have been really knocked down and the VAs are allowed to really shine on this blend.

Booker, u hit it on the head. I was initially taken aback by the floral/fragrance of this. However, as I try it more and more I can pull out the sweetness in it. I have another tin of this in the cellar. I'll sit on it for a while longer and see if a few more years takes down the fragrance and brings out the sweetness.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & this is an example of the generous posters on this site -

i am surprised i have not seen any response to the burley london blend -

my favourite & bought up a few tins when it was discontinued likely by the accountants at mac baren.

i am in canada so am out of the loop but i do recommend blb to some burley smokers - a reasonable replacement to anyone who knows the blb is also by mac baren - golden extra - also recommended by posters of PM.
again HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I love these kind of threads! So much generosity going around here. It's a great way to help others find their favorite tobacco or just to get a shot at trying something new. I would love to participate if something else comes up you would like to share!
