To accelerate the blackening process of the rim. I get much better final results on cobs with, than without. - Sherm NatmanAm I the only one wondering why honey was applied to the rim?
I just blacken them before I smoke them.To accelerate the blackening process of the rim. I get much better final results on cobs with, than without. - Sherm Natman
You must be more skilled than me at blackening the rim, as I tend to burn them - not in the good way - if I don't use the honey or syrup on the rim too; and for me, once a cob gets that burnt taste/odor, it's history. So by treating the rim, it becomes a no-worries situation for me. - Sherm NatmanI just blacken them before I smoke them.
Are you suggesting Sherm Natman sent a honey-coated cob to himself?I believe these two are the same fella..
Aesthetically, it looks old-tyme-cool. Blackening does nothing for the smoke. Nor does the honey-coating.I just blacken them before I smoke them.
Nope... I just kicked the bear. Shermie @shermnatman will come out of his cave roaring loudly.I believe these two are the same fella..
They do both have the same sense of humor and writing style...hmmm...?I believe these two are the same fella..
???Interesting thread. But I think the most telling bit of information is the op's take on womens underwear.
If that's what his girlfriends unmentionables looked like, someone should have talked to her about personal hygiene!
