Flavored blends can take a long time to get a handle on.Interesting. I will try my cellar again and ensure to go very slow.

ThanksYou might look into GL Pease 'The Virginia Cream.' Flavored but in a 'natural' and fairly unobtrusive way. Another thought is some of the other Lakeland style tobaccos. Lots of flavors but without a chemical aftertaste.
I have seen it but not acquired. Its a bit hard to source since it's an annual small batch but C&D Sun Bear might be a good candidate.
The Tupelo Honey would seem to fit the bill, but definitely hard to source now. It’s a bit hard to source since it's an annual small batch but C&D Sun Bear might be a good candidate.
Peter Stokkebye Nougat is also a good contender. The Tupelo Honey would seem to fit the bill, but definitely hard to source now.
Is that what attracted your pet bull?Like everyone says: aros take time to master. Instead of puffing away, take slower sips of the smoke and retroinhale to get a better "taste".
The bull is gone now unfortunately. Now I did have a friend try and milk a bull once. Not the milk he was expecting. Is that what attracted your pet bull?
I will add the nougat ..Peter Stokkebye Nougat is also a good contender.
Correct. But all are delicious non aros. All of the HH series tobaccos are marketed as not having flavoring additives and just being natural tobacco taste, right?
Starting to digress. lol..The bull is gone now unfortunately. Now I did have a friend try and milk a bull once. Not the milk he was expecting.
Where did you see that? They used to have a Modern Virginia in the HH line up, which was an apricot aromatic, and the old Acadian Perique was heavily topped. All of the HH series tobaccos are marketed as not having flavoring additives and just being natural tobacco taste, right?
The HH line was definately advertised as "the bare minimum" for casing.Where did you see that? They used to have a Modern Virginia in the HH line up, which was an apricot aromatic, and the old Acadian Perique was heavily topped.
Definitely what is left of the HH line is not too heavily cased, but I haven't heard that was what the line was about.
So these 2 are no longer available?Where did you see that? They used to have a Modern Virginia in the HH line up, which was an apricot aromatic, and the old Acadian Perique was heavily topped.

Great thanks. I will check these out.For flavored/scented that still taste like quality tobacco, without “synthetic” aftertastes these come to my mind:
Dan Devil’s Holiday if you like berries and tobacco, and a great room note.
Glengarry Flake would be worth a try.
Dan SVH for honeydewed Virginia.
