I’ve enjoyed a rich, full and satisfying life so far, and not a little bit of my pleasure is smoking as many really nice pipes every day full of any kind of tobacco my heart desires.
I have dozens of different blends to smoke in maybe a couple of hundred nice pipes.
And tonight when I ordered a box of 1792 and some tins of British made tobacco from Smoking Pipes I discovered my tin of Grousemoor is a Lakeland type tobacco.
I’ve read of Lakeland tobaccos on this forum but I know I’ve never in my life before tried anything that is supposed to be a Lakeland.
They don’t sell that around Humansville Missouri.
As I understand a Lakeland, it’s supposed to be a sort of British Mixture 79 or other fruity tasting delight,,,,if you like that sort of tobacco.
So my first question, is why they are called Lakeland?
Was there an English manufacturer named that, or was it made by a lake?
I learn something new here, every day.
