A way to catch the ebb and flow of the SG tide with less hassle is to get on the backorder list with the ETailers. I also have the impression that the SG distributor is careful to make sure B&Ms get a fair share of new shipments, which seem to come into the US every few months.

I am a big Samuel Gawith fan. I also really enjoy Esoterica, another hard-to-find brand. However, I never have to 'hunt' them down or go looking for them. Between the e-tailers Facebook pages, their Twitter feeds, and forums like these, I am always told when they are available. Practically no effort on my part, but my cellar continues to grow.
The opportunities only arise a handful of times a year, but when they do they are thrust in my face.

Like hunting for super models with poor eye sight (my only chance) :worship: , I will continue my quest for the ultimate tobacco. I find the hunt almost as satisfying as the conquest.

Hmm, Grant's had some SG stuff as part of their Going Out of Business Sale. I picked up a tin of FVF while I was there. I don't know why, but I've been pretty lucky just coming up on tins and even bags of SG and Esoterica stuff at my local stores.

Super models are not worth the time. They're far too conceded and narcistic. No, the woman to go for is the adorable one. Cute face and a body that you can tell she doesn't throw up her food fifteen minutes after eating it and also knows how to eat proper portions. I usually put women like Drew Barrymore and Tiffany Thiessen in this category.
As for the actual subject of this thread, I too was with uberam3rica and feared the company was going under. Good to hear they aren't. I do feel the frustration with availability of the blends though. Just got into FVF and now it's nowhere to be found lol.

I have been a fan of Samuel Gawith for years and was kind of bummed out about the lack of availability. Then I discovered that my local B&M is regularly stocked. Tins are $23.00 but it is nice to have it always down the street. I would surely miss Full Virginia Flake.

I buy what I can get . I would rather explore than chase after any blend that always seems to be in short supply . You know thier blends used to be cheaper and available if they can not supply I for one will move on and find a new favorite . But then again I do not follow the leader and I refuse to become a sheeple smoking a blend to impress anyone but me .
