Yeah that definitely looks like mold in the second picture. how does the tobacco look? you gonna smoke it ?

I've never seen anything like that, what causes that? Is it just moisture from the tobacco, the tobacco itself, or the way it was packaged? That's a little scary to see after only 4 years.

I'm guessing against mold. That stuff looks more crystalline, and looks like its coming from the actual tin itself. I'm no expert though, and agree with mortonbriar- it sure is odd that the tobacco looks fine...........

I'd look at it under a loupe, or try to dissolve some in some water, or taste it............ I know, I'm a bit weird that way...............
