One's health can be a precarious thing. Weighing possible health complications versus a tin of pipe tobacco, I would tend to err on the side of caution and probably just toss it. I would not want to introduce mold into my mouth and nasal passages.

FWIW, each tin I’ve smoked of ROThis is the underside of the paper that was covering the tobacco in a 4 year old tin of RO Acadian Vaper. Salt? Sugar? Mold?
