In the discussion of Royal Yacht, has anyone mentioned recently how it burns down well with good flavor and little if any unburned leaf? Not everyone likes Royal Yacht, and for those who don't, this doesn't matter much. But if it is a blend you enjoy, it has that additional feature of burning down mostly or entirely to ash, which is something most other blends, including other Dunhill blends, don't consistently do. Score another for the Yacht. Probably others have pointed this out; no need to quote back earlier posts. But I thought it was worth mentioning, even if I'm mentioning it again.

I agree MSO. I find that blends made up of single leaf tend to burn all the way down.

I enjoy RY on occasion. I can't smoke it often, but it is a smooth luxury smoke for movie night. My wife doesn't mind it, and it has enough nicotine to keep my attention. I just can't smoke it as often as deathmetal does. But, I will expound upon it's greatness when given the chance.

I have smoked EMP and RY from Dunhill and they both burn down well in my opinion. I have been given a 2012 sample of RY and it is way better than the one I bought in 2015. 2015 one has less flavor and less nicotine than the 2012 one. Until smoking 2012 one, I was always curious how people were considering it a high nicotine blend. Does anyone know if the blender has changed since 2012? I asked Deathmetal on another thread however have no response yet. Another thing that I love about Dunhill blends (EMP and RY so far) they can be smoked right out of the tin, the tobacco is not wet.

I can't say enough good things about this blend. It burns beautifully, has a rich flavor without being overpowering, and mostly lets those power imperial Virginias do the talking. I have never gotten to the bottom of a bowl with regrets for smoking it, except that the bowl is now ended (which is a good excuse to pack another).
In fact... I'll be right back.

Hunter, I had the same thought. If the case were not in litigation I'd post a hull from a very large houseboat fire I looked at. Nothing left but a portion of the hull.
