Post pictures of your Corn Cob Pipe in action.
This one was taken as I got ready to go dove hunting a few weeks ago

Ah, Fort Collins, the Colorado Rocky Mountain range is beautiful

IMO, even though this area is the home of Rocky Mountain National Park, it's actually the ugly area of the Colorado Mountains. :)

Boxing up last year's harvest while enjoying some Bayou Morning in a cob. In the front is Del Gold Virginia, behind is Burley 21. In the box is Small Stalk Black Mammoth.

What's the deal with Old Dominion? I like the traditional look of them, with the reed stem, but I can't seem to find the normal-sized one (VA Planter) in stock anywhere for a long time. Are they permanently out of production? I don't mind the bowl size of the Chesapeake but I'd prefer the longer stem.

I don't think the VA Planter is gone forever? Bob mentioned to me in Columbus this year that they were growing some corn that would allow for a larger chamber, and I believe I recall him mentioning that the VA Planter would be available again in addition to an even larger option? Don't quote me on this as my memory is poor. Plus, he's a member on this forum and hopefully chimes in on this one.
I really really like my OD Laughing Kings. They have a fairly small and narrow chamber, but they smoke great; and are not nearly as small as the Chesapeake. A smoke lasts me 20-30 minutes. I like my Old Dominion cobs better than my MM cobs. There's just something about them that sits right with me? Although, my MM cobs are good pipes too.

Speaking of small cobs, I went out to lunch with my trusty MM "Short Stop" and happened upon an old tree that looked interesting.
