Lol.I have done the same thing before. Not recommended for the squeamish or sensible, but it can be done by those of us who are more foolhardy.
Must be my overly-thrifty Scottish bloodlines, not wanting to let anything go to waste.
I bet I could even repurpose the moldy tobacco section as a poultice for insect stings.

Once mold has activated, there are zero pieces without it. Everything is contaminated with activated mold spores. Some pieces aren’t yet blooming, but they are fully contaminated.

Being fine tobaccos & all, but they receive no places of memorial behind the shop stove. I have a few more squares that I will add & a couple of rectangle tins. I'll swap some of the 'boring" for nicer looking tin covers. Most of what I enjoy is in bulk,
Sheet metal hex screw & rubber washer through back of tin & driven into the corrugated tin & backing on wall behind stove. Not the most beautiful but it does what I want.
Some nice memories of tobaccos, especially those I can no longer get.
