Richmond Pipe Show

Was curious, never been to a pipe show, Are you going? Also how are the prices? I live about 2 and 1/2 hrs from Richmond is it worth the drive? Would enjoy meeting some of the members of the forum. ::

Though I've never been to the Richmond show, I've been to both the Columbus and Chicago shows and I think you should DEFINITELY go! The prices are the best you'll ever find on both tobacco and pipes. Plus the fellowship of other pipe men will give you TONS of information.
If I can find a cheap flight, I just may go myself.

I was hoping to attend the Richmond show, but alas, the $1300 CAD return ticket would be better used to either fly to Europe or Asia on vacation; or better yet, to pay the $300 to fly down to Vegas for the West Coast show, keeping a grand in pocket to spend on stuff there.

I'll be there. It's about a 5 1/2 hour drive one way for me. No big deal for me. The show is big enough to make the drive worth while.

This will be my 3rd Richmond show, and I would say it is worth a 2.5 - 5 hour drive. It's a great show and I definitely recommend it.

Sadly, I'll be in school, so I can't justify missing school for a pipe show. Plus, it's almost a nine hour drive for me.

I live in Winchester and used to live in Richmond area, I am thinking of going but I am still on the fence, not because of the drive, that's fun through the mountains on the motorcycle, just not sure what the plans are yet from the minesterial of financial matters...I tend to spend when I go to things like this.....

It's a busy weekend for us, but we may be nearby in Williamsburg. I'm hoping to shoot up to the show on Sunday AM, while the gals are busy visiting wineries...

I have been desiring a Ruthenberg pipe and would love to be able to hold one in the flesh, before making my decision.

i wish i could go,i live in the thumb of michigan, i dont know how long the drive is, but i dont care, i love roadtrips. i just cant go due to my financial status

if you had a good friend and left two or three days in advance you could see the sights and have a good time along the way.perhaps its our age difference that makes us see this differently
