I'm getting excited about this show. I'll be in Richmond on business the week of the show. Plus at the first of the year when I submitted my vacation days I made sure I had the weekend of the show scheduled off.

Wonder how far from the show the airport is! I have a free round trip ticket that I need to use before Oct. 12th. I'm on the road and have been for almost two weeks and am actually in a hotel about 50 miles from there. But I fly home to St. Louis airport in the morning.
I'll have to see how it works out.

I really wish that I could go. Maybe in a few years when I am not so broke.

This will be at least my 25th Richmond show, the BEST show on the Eastern Coast. Hope to meet some of you there. Please stop by the table to say Hi. For many years I drove the 12 hours from Boston, but now it's either the train or airline. And it's worth every minute to join the fine folks from Richmond.

Just got the nod to go from the wife. I live about 2 hours from Richmond and will be taking the wife and another couple.
It will be my 35th wedding anniversary weekend, she couldn't have given me a better present, except maybe that nice meerschaum I have been coveting. :lol:

I was going to go--the drive down from Connecticut isn't too bad. Then I double checked the date and realized it was Yom Kippur. Oh well, there's always next year.
