I'd be interesting to know, apart from the British Isles and America .. are there any other countries where G&H co Rich Dark Spring Dew/formerly known as HoneyDew) is being imported?
It's available to any country. What is imported depends on what the distributor decides to order and that can vary from order to order.

And you won't unless you are a UK registered retailer or wholesaler or a distributor.
That’s terrible news. Can’t you at least confirm status of Bosun Cut plug, Bosun Plug, Brown Flake Aro, Dark Flake Aro? Are they still on your product list? Or are they quietly getting discontinued?

Nothing is 'quietly' discontinued. It is stated openly and as it happens to all distributors.
Why would I need to confirm the status of these particular blends?
In any case won't really matter to you what we continue to make or not, as you think pretty much all the tobacco we produce now is c**p so presumably won't be buying any.

I find it amusing that certain individuals on this forum seem to want to dictate how manufacturers/vendors conduct their business.

I’m a little perturbed at how Germain doesn’t have a presence on this forum. I’d write them a strongly worded post about how I can never seem to purchase their products in the quantity I’m accustomed to, and nitpick about everything… 🤣🤣🤣

I smoke pretty much whatever Gawith & Hogwarts produce provided it has Rose Geranium in it. It would have been nice if they had taken over the production of War Horse Plug as I do believe they have technology to take a decent run at doing it properly. It is a fascinating company and would make for an interesting P.E buy out target but sadly there are no other similar companies to consolidate into to achieve economies of scale. The worst thing would be if STG came knocking because at that point we would all be royally screwed. As the old saying goes 'Be nice to nurse for fear of something worse!'.

It may be beneficial to all if that list were made public. Then the smokers could see what you produce, ask our registered wholesaler/distributor for that blend and if enough requests they can place an order to you. Everyone wins!
I suspect if you peruse Laudisi's and GQ Tobacco's websites, you'll get a pretty complete view of what's available. I sure wish I got more Bob's Square Cut when it was still around.

As I understand it, Laudisi orders a quantity of tobacco from G&H, it’s shipped, sits in customs, then it’s distributed to vendors, where it sits on shelves until depleted…

Then the cycle begins all over again.

So eventually, it will get replenished. The frequency at which that happens has many variables; G&H production capacity and production schedules, lag times sitting in customs, the individual vendor’s practices, etc.

So if you’re concerned about not having enough tobacco to fall back on, the sure fire solution is to go big or go home.

@gawithhoggarth it seems you don’t know how to read, this thread started with my positive review of Cannon Plug. I still stand by what I’ve said that you messed up Coniston, Rum twist and discontinued bunch of good stuff. However, you didn’t manage to mess up everything. That’s why I’ve asked about blends that are still relatively smokeable.

" However, you didn’t manage to mess up everything" Must try harder LOL!
Guess if blends are only relatively smokeable you will not be that bothered either way.

"It may be beneficial to all if that list were made public." Beneficial maybe to some on here but not beneficial to our distributors, retailers and to us, who will just be overwhelmed with questions about why is this not on there, why can't you get this, or that, make this etc......The distributors are well aware of what is available but choose what to order based on passed sales, what is allowed to be sold, minimum quantity orders etc. The production/price list is what is done for OUR customers i.e distributors and retailers and contains information not for the public.

We are working on a new website which will have basic details about the blends we produce. However, this does not mean that these can be sold everywhere as that depends on many factors.

Bob's Square cut went years ago.

Well, I gotta say, it's a mighty shame how things have turned out. I took the time to give a fair review, tried askin' a simple question about a few blends, and what do I get in return? Sarcasm and insults. Ain’t no way to treat someone who’s tried to be respectful, even when there’s things to criticize.

Now, I ain’t here to make enemies or stir up trouble. I was askin' straight up about the status of a few blends—not to run your name through the mud, but to get some clarity for folks who care about your products. Instead of answerin’ like a professional, you’ve chosen to mock and belittle. That ain’t the way to handle things, especially when folks are just tryin’ to understand what’s goin’ on.

If you can’t take a little criticism without gettin' defensive and rude, then it don’t say much about your brand. But you ain’t botherin’ me. It’s you who’s missin' the point. If you think I’m the problem for askin' questions, then I reckon you got a whole lot to learn. A little respect goes a long way, especially when folks are tryin' to be reasonable.

But hey, keep it up if that’s how you wanna handle things. It’ll be a real shame if that’s the way you wanna run your show. Just don’t come cryin' when folks stop botherin' with you altogether.

Given you have already pointed out my inability to read, maybe you could try writing in proper English and not this weird slang - I mean who does that anyway!

As we say over this side of the pond - if you can't take it, don't dish it out!

"If you can’t take a little criticism without gettin' defensive and rude," - LOL, Kettle calling the pot black springs to mind.

"A little respect goes a long way" Absolutely - maybe heed your own words!

There were no insults and hey if you can't take a little sarcasm.......

" Just don’t come cryin' when folks stop botherin' with you altogether." I won't - I will just retire!

It ain’t disrespectful to speak your mind when things don’t seem quite right. If the latest batches of your blends ain’t up to the same standard they once were, it’s only fair that folks say somethin’. It ain't an attack, just an honest opinion. Customers deserve the right to express when something’s changed for the worse, and if the product’s not what it used to be, that’s part of the conversation.
"A little respect goes a long way" Absolutely - maybe heed your own words!
You may think criticism's a personal affront, but it ain’t. It’s just folks talkin’ about what they care about. It’s a shame to see any company go down this path, but if you think that’s disrespectful, well, maybe it’s better to step back and let the folks who care to keep the conversation goin’.

It’s obvious you’ve come here just to act like a buffoon and encourage others to participate in your buffoonery…

Get a life.
How 'bout you add me to ignored members list and save yourself a bother?
