Thank you for reading my post and the recommendation. I havent tried the McClellands Virginas, but will have to buy some to mix with the D&R 3 sails since I cant smoke the D&R alone. After purchasing some, I read that 3 sails is also used to ROY cigarettes. :oops:

It's a blend that one of my local B&M shops sells, under a different name. Not sure which McClelland's blend it is, but it has the same VA smell as the Red & Black you pictured, which is not a blend, per se, but actually has separate flakes of both red and black Virginias in the tin.
Since the 3 Sails is a straight Virginia, you may want to take the opposite approach. Rather than mix in another Virginia, maybe mix in a "condiment" tobacco, a bit of Perique, Latakia or Oriental leaf.
