What do you guys use for humidification? I ordered one of these, to use in a tupperware or pelican case style container:

I live in an arid climate. I read that it is best to replenish your humidor with fresh air, do you guys open your 'tupperdore' occasionally for fresh air, or just leave it alone?

I just have a humi-disc but those gel beads work well.

Once a week I open the lid, check the hygrometer and replenish moisture to the Humi-Disc as necessary.
Don't forget to test / calibrate those hygrometers about twice a year ... they fail often.

I like the salt test best because it tests the 75% mark accurately.

Lol ... I will confess to the occasional "Backwoods" fix when I'm bouncing down

a dirt road heading to the river for the day.
