Recently Acquired my First Peterson Pipe

My first “good” pipe was a Peterson Limerick 69, bought in 1990…


I managed to break the tenon on it, so I had Rich Lewis make a new stem for it.

Fast forward 35 years and I now have nearly 100 Petes. About half are new and unsmoked. I’ve got about a dozen 69 shapes. They are definitely addictive.

I haven't bought a Peterson yet, been thinking about buying a Green or Ebony Spigot straight billiard. I really like this one here, you said it's kinda like a Goldilocks pipe, it's just kinda all around perfect, and I like that. Good looking pipe! Enjoy it

someone might have said this but their green fades pretty easily with sun exposure. IF you don't mind it being brown go for the Ebony.

To be fair it turns to a form of brown only found after binge eating funnel cakes, turkey legs and Navajo Tacos.

yeah I love my green peterson but I would have picked another color if I had known what it would do. Still a great pipe but I might have to restain it at some point.

I have two greens. One has taken hard use and is still green. The other saw its shadow and is now sludge brown.

This 2018 SPD 106 stays a nice shade of green…
