To me it tastes a little bit different than it smells, but both are very pleasant. I’d dedicate a pipe to it though. It does leave a deer tongue ghost.

Haven’t added to my cellar in a while, but I’m finally getting back in the saddle :

Obviously stoked on the Rustica. I love ODF so I had to grab a couple, but the rest of the Mac Baren’s I’ve yet to try. Also figured I’d snag a couple Blood Red Moon because it was my very first pipe tobacco, I kind of like it about twice a year, and it seems to be getting scarce. A 5 stack of that stuff will last me many years.

I had a tin of Doblone d'Oro come opened from them.
They had a disclaimer a while ago that due to mold concerns certain blends were being opened and checked out before being sold
Right, I saw that, but not on the blends I bought. And you'd think they would put it in a bag our something
I pulled the trigger on a tin of Spark Plug and a 100g tin of Golden Sliced. Very much looking forward to both, though I suspect I’ll cellar them rather than opening right away.
Realized I was running low on Balkan Supreme right after my last SP order, so I purchased another half pound of it. I’m tempted to order the five pound bag from 4Noggins, but I think the Lat tastes better fresh, and I’m not sure how long it’d take me to go through five pounds. I ordered some F&K Lancer Slices to try as well.
This place is dangerous. Just found out about SP’s C&D sale. Ordered 8oz Gentleman Caller, and 2oz each of Bluegrass and Bayou Morning Flake. Y’all are a bunch of enablers! ?

Named that for a reason from the reviews I have read. I am still interested to try it to see what all the motor oil talk is about. Kind think I could like that.
I think you will. I still smoke waaay more of the Balkan Supreme, but keep a lbs of Super Balkan too. My 2oz trial of star of the east was good, just that it's still in the mason jar and will stay there for comparison. I can't seem to beat Arango or the Super Balkans for good price on a nice Balkan. Have you tried Gaslight? Love that, but price wise, I pack a lot more of the Supreme and Super.
Although I have two tins of Gaslight in my stash, I haven't tried it yet. I keep meaning to get around to get around to one.
