I never gave it much thought but I do think that emojis are good at conveying tone that might otherwise be misunderstood through text alone. At least until we come up with a good punctuation mark that indicates sarcasm that is.

My favorite blogger is of the opinion that men should never use emojis, especially heart and kissy emojis.
I use them when texting female relatives or friends. Chicks dig them. But do they think I'm femme for using them?

I think it's super lame to concern and limit ones self over peoples ideas of whats manly. If anything that hilariously insecure, if you got to go that hard to prove your manhood it implies doubt.
