Some members might need special permission to speak as they wish without getting banned. It's not their fault, they were born that way!
I see a lot of anti big government sentiment/taxation is theft vibes on this forum. There are also multiple members with thin blue line avatars. Is that not also politics? My guess is that nobody was banned over a comment about My Pillow per se, but for refusing to adhere to a no politics mandate on the forum.
The details have not been published or confirmed. Everything is conjecture.I dont know this person but a ban for attacking the my pillow guy seems harsh, if that is the case.
IDK. The thread’s last post might have triggered something…I'm confused now. Did they disagree over a pillow related matter? How is that even a thing?
You said people in Northern Alabama talk funny. I’d canned your ass for that insult….????Screw pillows... When I am ready to leave the forum, I want to go down by slamming the guys who make comforters. Yeh... but till then I will have nothing to say about men who make comforters. I don't want to shoot my load before it is time.
Of course it is. We have a no politics policy, though its enforcement has been a bit "porous" over the years. Brobs is a bit more forthright in his expression of his views.I see a lot of anti big government sentiment/taxation is theft vibes on this forum. Screw pillows
You get a time out the first few times, and the time outs get longer and longer. I think this would be BROBS' 2nd or 3rd offense in the past year. One was for going after a brand new member for being from Singapore....I dunno, he was pissed about the way Asian cultures treat animals or something. I agree though that the forums are a little more "spicy" with him on here, although his posts can be grating. FWIW, I've had more than one PM conversation with him and bought a pipe from him as well, and he's a totally stand-up guy on an individual basis.Don't you just get a time out? I thought you had to do something really bad like write something racist or say 9mm filters are a viable option to get a permanent ban.
Screw pillows are quote useful for short legged men, or Ive been told.Cosmic, is that even a thing? Are we talking premarital or post? If there's an acrimonious breakup do you have to give the pillow half your stuff?
I agree but this was not his first offense.I dont know this person but a ban for attacking the my pillow guy seems harsh, if that is the case.
I totally agree with this. There is too much passive-aggressive political commentary, particularly from the right, on this forum. A lot of it doesn't get policed, but I've found that whatever is reported is usually dealt with by our mods, who are excellent. If you see something that seems too political, report it to the mods. It won't usually result in a ban (as it shouldn't most of the time) but it will be taken down.I see a lot of anti big government sentiment/taxation is theft vibes on this forum. I did play "Take This Job and Shove It" on MP3 player walking out of my job on last day. Couldn't find my boom box..Screw pillows... Wait, I thought all of those things were prerequisites to join? The dude chews with his mouth open, farts a lot, blows his nose into his fingers, and spits on the floor. We just can't have that around here.
