Sad news. Gone too soon. I’m a big fan of That Little Ol’ Band from Texas, especially their early stuff.

Saw him and the rest of the band when they opened for the Stones at the Astrodome in '81. May he RIP.

Another youngster gone in the prime of life. Well, at my age, that's how it looks.

I remember in the 80’s that Gillette was going give Dusty and Billy Gibbons a million dollars (around 3 million today) to shave off their beards, and they declined. Great band, and he will be missed.

72 and just dies in his sleep…man, that’s a raw deal. I saw them with their Eliminator tour and it was one of the most fun concerts I’ve seen. They could really put on a show.

Sorry to see this, collectively one of the hardest working tour bands ever. Early on it didn't matter if it was a dirt floor arena or a stadium, you got the same show at either venue. They had a full tour schedule lined up for 2021 too.

So shocked to hear this sad news. I was only watching my ZZ Top Live In Texas DVD a few days ago.

I'll be watching their Live At Montreaux tomorrow.

That was a really good documentary.

They played in Killeen not too long ago, my parents went, rocking out I. Their 70’s!

seems like a good way to go especially when he shared a stage with snakes (as in literally, the other guys in the band seem nice).
