I have been noticing that more members are sporting mustaches and in particular large handle-bar types, or similar.

A question to you guys who favor a larger mustache, what wax, oil or other product do you favor for cleaning, conditioning and styling.

I'll go first. For cleaning & grooming, I use Beard Brand conditioner and shampoo. I don't use an oil or balm, as I find that it doesn't allow the wax to hold my mustache.
As for holding wax, I use Fire House, either Dark or Tacky. Tacky is the strongest hold and is great for tropical climates.

Would be interested to hear what others use.

I have what I think is a normal, straightforward ‘stache - like a classic cop or Ron Swanson. I don’t put anything in it, because the smell bothers me (and it interferes with the nice tobacco mustache note). Just wash it with face wash. Wouldn’t be opposed to an oil or something to hold it in place a bit if someone can recommend something unscented.

When I first started sporting a handlebar moustache in the early ’90s, I started with Pinaud Clubman (first Black, but abandoned that because it left stains on my cheeks, and switched to Neutral).

Clubman was much too creamy and had no holding power, especially when it was humid out. I sought a stiffer wax. There were several brands that came and went after that. I’ve been using Firehouse Wacky Tacky for a good many years now (I guess it’s just called Tacky now).

In the Summer, I also use Can You Handlebar Secondary, which I find works better in humid weather than Firehouse (it’s a bit stiffer and holds the curls better).

I use shampoo or Dawn to get the wax out at night.

I have what I’d call a medium Stache. You can brush into the beard and it blends or you can twist and wax for some bars. I like Woodsman wax but needs heat. The Moroccan smells great. I recently discovered Boss clay. It’s very easy to work with good hold for what it is (not super strong).
