So the experiment will reveal if driving all smoking of all types out of the reach of the citizenry will increase the lifespan within your borders, and ultimately if the citizenry finds that intrusion, whatever the result, beneficial or tyrannical.

Personally, I could puff a little for years to come, as moderately as I smoke. But once I got to the $155 tin of pipe tobacco, I might restrict it to celebratory smokes a few times a year until I ran out.

Interesting, didnt realize that. All the Brazilians who work for the same company I do smoke Dunhill cigarettes like mad. Both young and old associates. I always assumed tobacco law was more laid back down there.
Suprisingly it's not; but tobacco taxes are much lower than other countries so cigarettes are very cheap in Brazil.

Gday fellow pipers , sad day today , I hav decided to put my pipes away . Went to buy a pouch of erinmore mix today but to my surprise , not really , thanks to the Australian Gumbyment and the continued rise in tobacco taxes here , i could not afford the $155.00 askin price . In what was once known as , the lucky country , I don't feel so lucky anymore . So it is with great sadness I say goodbye to this most treasured pastime , may all those that can still afford to , pack light , take slow and enjoy
What in Gods green earth is happening down there in Australia.
Thoughts and Prayers Piper
I am speechless
