Is PA considered an Aromatic. I just got some for the first time and it sure does smell like Redman Chewing Tobacco.

Just had some after lunch and I can see why it has been around so long.

I agree it is not an aromatic but it sure does smell good.

Makes be think of Grandpa even though I never knew him.

Reminds me of some of the rural general stores(now all long gone) Where the old farmers would hang out on winter afternoons. I miss those places and all the funny stories that the old guys told.

After reading all the post I think I'll have to try PA again. Tried it in my mid teens when I didnt know how to smoke a pipe and thought it was terrible.

I've never tried PA, but I like Burley so I think it'll be a good match.
Though there really isn't a leaf that I don't like.

smoking some now, only my second bowl ever. I can say a few nice things about it.
Flavor is spot on. Mild, but with a definite flavor to it.
Easy to pack. If you want to learn how to gravity fill and pack, PA may be the perfect starter blend.
Burns easily and stays lit.
I have found a new stand-by.
I am sure it has been said a thousand times, but there is a reason this stuff is still around.

Had my second bowl of PA ever today at lunch.

Pretty sure two old ladies in the park were hitting on me because of the smell.
