@ zanthal: That thing is one of the many things my warped mind sees in every day objects. When I see something that catches my eye I shoot it, then chop it up and edit the shit out of it physically and in the computer till it becomes what I was seeing in the object as I happened upon it. I used to paint and sculpt more but with little time for those hobbies I took to the camera. More immediate gratification for my tirelessly creative brain. You've seen the Ohin3 art show thread no?

My younger son last year after traversing about a half mile of railroad tie fencing that encloses a large park near us. (The stretch you can see is about one-sixth the length.) He was scared to walk along the narrow, sometimes craggy and rotten ties, but wanted to try walking on them anyway. So he got balanced and did a few yards (including the scary parts where it changes heights) and then said he wanted to "beat the fence."
That expression is pure triumph.
