Thankfully my parents stay up to date on technology. They may not get some of the terms but once explained they're good to go. The amazing thing is my 81 year old grandmother who uses a computer still and zips around on it. Occasionally I get called for tech support but not as often as before.
And I say and because most if my generation basically live in that world and don't know reality or common sense. But I've often said I was born an old man. I love simpler things like books, records, and a nice pipe. I even still hand write short stories, dont like typing them. And if I really want to screw with people I'll write in cursive, people my age and younger cannot read it.
