It does the job well. I have one. “might” get just about two bowls stuffed in there, for an average 1.5 inch depth, .75 inch diameter pipe. Keeps tobacco just as you put it in. Have gone over 2 months before using on occasion, and all was just like I put in. I would call it air tight. Nice screw down top, with a silicone “washer” for sealing.

For a bit more volume, I also use Snus tins with the same features.View attachment 41658
I've eyed an icetool can and the general waterproof for a long time. I used general for about 4 years. I've converted to tobacco free nicotine pouches in the last 6 months or so. I may eventually pull the trigger on an icetool.

I have a few Icetool tins as well - slim and regular with lid. Pretty good for pipe tobacco, but not as good for longer term “storage” as the screw down versions. I’d call it Icetool for up to 30 days, and screw tops “forever”... My $0.02 ?

Good info. I'm having trouble locating any screw top snus cans. Seems like the general waterproof is either out of production or sold out everywhere I've checked. I'll keep digging though.
