Nothing wrong with a Mora, solid knives. I got a Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter and I’m in love with it.

Eh, just did it for the pic. ? Even *I*, toopid as I am, ain't dumb enough to try to work with more than one open blade. Sometimes even that's one too many.....Just a tip guys, knives with multiple blades should never have more than one blade opened at any given time, having multiple blades open puts unnecessary strain on the springs and rivets!
I come from Sheffield, the home of all things that cut (and the specialised steels that make them) and was told that by a museum curator.
Regards,
Jay.?

That customized GEC is a looker. So is the MudBug. The MudBug is hard to find at the moment. Out of stock every where. So funny. I've been on a traditional buying spree for a few weeks and just checked to see if anyone else on here is into them and here's this thread.
I have a half dozen or so GECs, and multiple more over the years, and they are top notch.
I also just ordered a higher end Boker that looks like its going to be fantastic, too.
Here's a customized GEC I have coming to me in the nest week:
A Mudbug (maybe best working pocket knife available?) that I am trying to swap out for another GEC or Boker
And an old user handing out with a new friend
I do get where mawnan is coming from. But customers do want to see what they're looking at before handling. Leaving it partially open for an extended period does weaken the springs/locks of course.
After seeing that photo, I had to go search for that slip joint. Ordered one with white bone scales.Ok, so the kids, via my wife, are getting me a Case Christmas Canoe. And, I am not sure how it happened but I ordered a GEC Farm and Field Pocket Carver in natural linen micarta. I carve a lot using smaller pocket knives but this one looks like it was made for me.

Mudbug might be gone forever... with GEC stopping all SFOs and not giving any kind of idea when they might open them up again. Its def going to be years at least, from what I've heard. That customized GEC is a looker. So is the MudBug. The MudBug is hard to find at the moment. Out of stock every where.
I was just looking at vintage German automatics a little bit ago, lol.I forgot about this Italian switchblade. A buddy gave it to me forty years ago. Its definitely not a "pocket knife".
