Plug And Rope That Are Not Elusive?

I have read the struggles of many on the forum regarding 'sold out' statuses of many plugs or rope/twist tobacco's. I myself have searched for many, particularly twist I would love to try. Only to find the dreaded 'SOLD OUT!' that is seemingly a permanent status on most.

What are some of your favorites that you can actually get your hands on?

There's a channel on YouTube called StuffAndThings that is worth subscribing to. Bradley does a lot of pipe related content and recently reviewed a KBV blend which helped me to know about that brand.

It is still easily available. Some sites do throttle it, limiting the number of purchases per day, but I've had no problem getting it in 2020.

The shortage of plugs and ropes is just one more excuse to expand your hobby into buying whole leaf and making your own!!!! It is a lot of fun.

GLP has a number of plugs that are almost always available. Wessex Gold Brick is good.

Yeh, I wonder why the ropes are becoming so rare. Are retailers just not stocking them? They weren't ever that plentiful to begin with. And, demand... I would think more guys would tend towards the plugs over ropes.

Temple Bar is a nice VA/OR plug, and Spark Plug is a solid English

I agree GLP seems to keep good stock almost everywhere. I have some Wessex blends, SP is out of stock of gold brick. Add'er to the list!
