Beezer, that is great advice. I've collected many things over the years, and gotten myself into tight financial spots more than once. Then I learned simply to not window shop. Window shopping almost ALWAYS leads to buying, especially if you are prone to finding your joy in ownership. One day I realised that my possessions owned me, and not the other way around. I gradually sold all my precious collections and found freedom from the desire of ever wanting more. Another thing that I've learned is that sales advertising claims to help you "save" money, but it's retail trickery. Even in a sale, you aren't saving money if you're spending it! That's my own journey, anyway...take what you want from it, and leave the rest!
